Microsoft bring Linux GUI apps support to windows 10.

In Annual Build Developers conference  at 2020 has announced that they are making some improvements in windows subsystem for Linux app support.

They add the full Linux kernal to windows with WSL 2.0 with the support for Linux GUI apps. This will allow Windows 10 users to run Linux GUI apps.

These apps usually run with poor graphics performance due to insufficiency of GPU acceleration, at the same time Microsoft is also trying to solve that issue by adding GPU hardware acceleration for Linux GUI apps.

Microsoft is working to improve several features to support Linux based operating system by adding "OpenSSD in windows 10", "Ubuntu", and "Fedora in windows Store".

This week Microsoft windows is going to release Terminal command-line tool version 1.0.
