There are many types of text editors available, but for beginner's "Notepad" is the best text editor.One of the best Opensource text editor is Notepad++, after learning the basics you can use Notepad++.

Step 1: Open Notepad in your System
Step 2: Type HTML code
Step 3: Save the file with ".html" extension.
Step 4: Open the file by using your web browser.
