WhatsApp pay is going to be available to Indian users. Facebook is offering whatsApp Pay to one million Indian users but it couldn't launch formally because of delay in approval by National Payments Corporation of India(NPCI). The NPCI has granted permission to operate its digital payment service in a phased manner.
WhatsApp will be made available to over 10 million people through the messaging app. The Reserve Bank of India(RBI) and Indian Government were not too confident about giving WhatsApp approval because of some features.
The WhatsApp Pay app is like Paytm, Phone Pe, ect. These apps alow users to book movie, book tickets for train and plane and we can also recharge mobile, DTH, metro cards, etc.
