Google Photos video backups have been sent to strangers - SVRR TECH

Google Photos released some video files to strangers due to some Technical issue.

Google Takeout is a service which is offered by Google, enable users to download their data from their backup. Google alerting its users that due to some technical issue, the private videos of some users were sent to strangers.

The issue took place between November 21-25 last year. Google additionally noted that one or more videos might be affected by the issue. However, It didn't provide any clarity on which videos are exactly being impacted. The company also intimated users that the data downloaded during the five-day period might be incomplete or might include videos of strangers.

Google is now sending an email to its users alerting the users about the issue. The company has not confirmed how many users were affected by the issue. The company says that 0.01% users were affected by the issue.
